Catching loneliness from the lonely

Its a medical paradox. People who feel lonely can spread the emotion to others - much like a virus. After poring over data collected from nearly 5,000 people, the researchers concluded that loneliness is more than just a personal feeling, its an infectious mental condition. This was a statistical rather than medical study, so it doesnt explain how the contagion happens. But what it did find was that the friends of a person describing themselves as lonely were 52% more likely to become lonely themselves, and that their friends were at an increased risk too, even if they didnt know the lonely person.

The studys authors suggest this may be down to the way lonely people behave. A tendency to be wary or mistrustful of others can make their loneliness a self-fulfilling prophecy, as it may drive friends away. This much may seem obvious, but the study also hints that this behaviour can rub off on other people, painting a rather bleak picture of lonely people driving each other into ever greater isolation. Its advice to the lonely - surround yourself with a network of friends, as long as theyre not lonely too.

تفاوت عشق و محبت در شدت آن است

درست است که میل به دوست داشتن نیاز روانی است. این میل الزاما به منظور عاشق شدن نیست بلکه همان محبت کردن و مورد لطف و محبت قرار گرفتن است. مقوله عشق و تاثیرات آن  بر فرد و اجتماع را می توان به اشکال  مختلف بررسی کرد.این تاثیر گذاری به نوع بر خورد و شناخت از منشاء بروز آن باز می گردد. بی شک عشق جنبه روان شناسی دارد.زیرا عشق یک هیجان است. و از جمله موارد مقوله هایی است که در بحث انگیزش و هیجان  در علم روانشناسی به آن پرداخته می شود.

این هیجان که ما آن را به عنوان عشق می شناسیم می تواند به گونه های مختلفی بروز کند.عشق تنها نباید به فردی از جنس مخالف باشد. بلکه می تواند نسبت به امور مختلف بازگردد  یعنی هر آنچه توجه زیادی را جلب کند.  اما این عشق تا چه میزان می تواند بر روابط اجتماعی تاثیر بگذارد. عشق به امور مختلف مانند گروه و کار، هنر ،ورزش  و یا یک فعالیتی و ... بی شک در روابط اجتماعی تاثیر بسزایی دارد.

مسلماً زمانی که افراد یک جامعه نسبت به یک موضوع اجتماعی پسند عشق می ورزند باعث بالارفتن فعالیت و انگیزه آنها نسبت به آن موضوع خاص می شود و اگر شکل درستی داشته باشد تاثیر خوبی در روابطشان می گذارد و یا حتی تایید اجتماع و جامعه اش را نیز نسبت به خودش جلب می کند.  اما  الزاماً نمی توان گفت که عشق فردی به فرد دیگر در روابط اجتماعی او تاثیر  مثبت و یا منفی خواهد گذاشت. این  تاثیر به فرد بستگی دارد که او نسبت به چه کسی عشق می ورزد و در چه مرحله ای قرار دارد. مهم است که فرد بداند که عشقش یک سویه است و یا اینکه ایا معنا و هدفی در پس آن وجود دارد.

 در برخی موارد عشق های بی هدف و یک سویه منجر به سرکوب می شود و پس از سرکوب و به نتیجه نرسیدن ممکن است شرایط بدی را در زندگی فرد ایجاد کند.در چنین شرایطی فرد دچار مشکلات روانی و افسردگی و کوشه گیری ،خشم و پرخاشگری  دچار شود و دیگر نتواند روبط اجتماعی خوبی را در جامعه ایجاد کند. شکست عشقی یکی از عوامل افسردگی و عوامل محیطی بحساب می آید.

محبت کردن و مورد محبت قرار گرفتن آدمها نوعی تایید شدن است که این حس، شرایطی و تاثیرات مثبتی را ایجاد می کند.این حالت باعث بالا رفتن اعتماد به نفس شخص خواهد شد.این حالت را محبت کردن در فرد ایجاد می کند هر محبتی نیز نمی تواند صرفاً عشق تعریف کرد.تفاوت این دو در شدت آن است زیرا در عشق نوع افراط  در دوست داشتن وجود دارد.عشق در آدمهای مختلفی که دچار کمبود عاطفه نبوده اند هم بوجود می اید و منشاء آن کمبود عاطفه نیست.

درست است که میل به دوست داشتن نیاز روانی است. این میل الزاما به منظور عاشق شدن نیست بلکه همان محبت کردن و مورد لطف و محبت قرار گرفتن است.این نیازی است که در فطرت و سرشت  انسان قرار دارد.انسان دو نوع نیاز دارد یک نوع نیاز های فیزیولژیکی و دیگری نیاز روانی.عشق نه شهامت است نه خودخواهی بلکه فقط یک هیجان است. که یکسر پاسخ های فیزیولوژی و روانی را ایجاد می کند.منبع عشق های زمینی معمولاً بیرونی است اما برعشق ها غیر زمینی و عرفی  درونی است.
